Chris has more than 18 years experience working in private physio clinics in Australia and the United Kingdom. During his time in the UK, Chris worked with several of the Wales National Football squads and national level Welsh track and field athletes. Chris has a Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy and has a special interest in treating Sports injuries. Chris also has vast experience treating common spinal conditions having predominately worked in general Physiotherapy clinics throughout his career.
Outside of work Chris competed as an elite middle distance runner, previously competing for Wales and winning bronze medals at the Australian Championships in the 3000m steeplechase in 2012 and 2013. Chris conducted his Masters thesis, looking at lower back and lower limb bio-mechanics during running and has a keen interest in this area. Since retiring from running Chris keeps fit by going to the gym, surfing and playing golf.
Chris believes in a hands-on physio treatment approach which includes a combination of manipulation, joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, pliates/core stengthening and providing a comprehensive rehabilitation home exercise plan. Chris is passionate about working out the cause of your injury so that he can make sure it doesn’t re-occur!
